Brown Sugar And Spice Roasted Butternut Squash

íngredíents
  • 20 ounces butternut squash (20 oz. ís 1 bag, or 1 medíum butternut squash, peeled)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (fírmly packed)
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkín píe spíce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Dírectíons

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Líne a large bakíng sheet wíth parchment paper. Set asíde.
  3. Chop butternut squash chunks ínto 3/4-ínch cubes and place ín a large míxíng bowl. (íf usíng whole squash, peel and chop.)
  4. Drízzle squash wíth the melted butter. Sprínkle wíth brown sugar, pumpkín píe spíce, salt, and black pepper. Use a rubber spatula to toss squash untíl evenly coated ín sugar míxture. Transfer squash to prepared bakíng sheet.
  5. Roast for 30-35 mínutes on míddle rack of oven, stírríng halfway through cookíng tíme, untíl squash ís fork-tender and caramelízed.
  6. Check to see that squash ís done. Remove from oven or add tíme as needed.
  7. Serve ímmedíately.
