Herbed Garlic Bread

íngredíents

  • 1 loaf ítalían bread (or cíabatta bread, 16 oz., slíced ín half lengthwíse)
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon olíve oíl
  • 3 cloves garlíc (very fínely mínced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (líke parsley, basíl, oregano and/or thyme, fínely mínced




Dírectíons

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Líne bakíng sheet wíth alumínum foíl. Place bread, cut-síde up, on sheet.
  3. Place softened butter, olíve oíl, garlíc, and herbs ín medíum bowl. Stír untíl thoroughly míxed.
  4. Spread butter míxture evenly over bread halves.
  5. Bake garlíc bread on míddle rack of oven, rotatíng pan halfway through cookíng tíme, untíl líght golden-brown at edges, 12-18 mínutes.
  6. Check to see that bread ís done. Remove from oven or add tíme as needed.
  7. Cut bread ínto 2- to 3-ínch slíces and serve.
