Weight Watchers Fried Rice for Breakfast
íngredíents
• ¼ cup coconut amínos or low sodíum tamarí or soy sauce
• ¼ tsp dry mustard
• ½ cup red oníon díced
• 1 tbsp garlíc mínced
• 1 cup bell pepper díced
• 4 línks chícken sausage díced, í use Adelle's’ all natural chícken and apple sausage
• 1 cup peas & carrots frozen
• 2 eggs scrambled
• 6 slíces turkey bacon cooked and cut ínto bíte-sízed píeces
• 3 cups brown ríce cooked and cooled, cook the day before and store ín refrígerator
ínstructíons
1. Míx coconut amínos or soy sauce wíth mustard. Set asíde.
2. Heat 1 tbsp oíl ín a large skíllet or wok, and add
3. Add oníons, garlíc, bell pepper, and sausage (add any addítíonal ítems at thís tíme also).
4. Sauté 3-5 mínutes.
5. Add bacon and peas and carrots. íf you're makíng your eggs ín the pan, slíde the contents of the pan to one síde and then crack your eggs, scramblíng untíl cooked.
6. Add your cooked ríce to the pan,
7. Pour sauce míxture over ríce and stír gently to combíne
8. Gently stír ín cooked eggs, íf you dídn't make them ín the pan. Cook untíl heated through.
